Duration of Master’s in Singapore:Singapore is a top South- Asian destination to study abroad. The Masters curriculum follows an international format, with most programs taking 1 to 1.5 years to complete, full time. Taught courses are usually shorter, with more time required for research-focused qualifications.
Intakes in Singapore: Majority of Master’s programs will admit students twice a year in August and January. Some private Institutions also offer a start in May / June
Fee Structure: The fee range for pursuing Master’s in Singapore may range from S$ 20,000 to S$ 55,000 depending upon the Institution and the course applied. The universities may quote the fees as per semester or trimester. But interestingly some institutions have 3 semesters per year (i.e. a semester is 4 months!) or only 3 trimesters per year so take that into account when calculating fees.
Work Experience for Master’s in Singapore: Generally, Masters courses in Singapore do not require any work experience
GMAT / GRE Requirement: In order to pursue Master’s in Singapore one may be required to submit entry examination scores (e.g. GRE or GMAT). Mostly National Universities in Singapore and also INSEAD will need a GMAT or GRE for their programmes. We suggest the GMAT score should be above 650. Private Institutions in Singapore will not require a GRE / GMAT
English Language Requirement:One must have a recognized English language qualification such as IELTS or TOEFL. The minimum score should be IELTS 6.0 or TOEFL iBT80. We recommend a score of 6.5 in IELTS or 102 in TOEFL iBT. The test could be done within one month from the date you decide to take the test ie. preparing for the test, registering for the test, to appearing for it. Work in Singapore during studies: International Students enrolled in Private Education Organisations are not permitted to work during the course of their study.
