Postgraduate Courses
At least 65 % in Bachelors minimum of a second class honours (we recommend 60 %) or CGPA of 7.5 or higher (on a scale of 10). IELTS: 6.5 with no less than 6.0 in each module (or an equivalent TOEFL of 88 or a PTE score of 61)

Sports Scholarship: The DCU sports scholarship is an athlete led development programme whereby a network of support services and expertise are tailored to the individual needs of the athlete. The programme grades support depending on the athlete’s achievement, potential and need, with the objective of remaining flexible to support the diverse needs of the athlete. In the past, students have been awarded sport scholarships in Athletics, Basketball, Boxing, Camogie, Canoe, Gaelic Football, Golf, Handball, Hockey, Hurling, Rugby, Rowing, Sailing, Soccer and Tennis. DCU is also committed to the development of sporting excellence amongst students with a disability.
The Government of Ireland International Education Scholarships: The Government of Ireland International Education Scholarships are open to students from outside the EU/EEA and provide an individual stipend of €10,000 and full fee waiver to 60 beneficiaries for one full year study on a Bachelor, Master or PhD programme.
Erasmus Mundus Scheme: An Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree (EMJMD), is a prestigious, integrated, international study programme, jointly delivered by an international consortium of higher education institutions. EMJMDs award EU-funded scholarships to the best student candidates applying under annual selection rounds. Study must take place in at least two of the programme countries. Part of the studies can also take place where there is a partner-country institution involved. An EMJMD is a study programme of 60, 90 or 120 ECTS. This means that it lasts from a minimum of 12 months, to a maximum of 24 months and is open for Master’s students.
Dublin City University, Ireland (DCU) Application Deadline
While there is no official deadline for applications, courses at DCU fill up very fast. Typically, applicants may wish to apply by October in the previous year to when they hope to begin their course at DCU eg. If you are planning on a September 2020 start, you should apply by September 2019 preferably. Masters level courses at DCU get full very fast especially if you are looking to gain an admit to the courses in the disciplines of Business, Pharmacy, Nursing, Engineering, Computing, Law and many others.
